NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given by the County Council of Spartanburg County, South Carolina of a public hearing on Monday, March 16, 2026, relating to the proposed enactment of an ordinance (the "Ordinance") authorizing the delivery by Spartanburg County, South Carolina (the "County") of an Amended and Restated Fee in Lieu of Tax Agreement (the "Agreement") between the County and Schluter Systems L.P., a New York limited partnership, UMS Property, LLC, a Nevada limited liability company, and SSF Production, LLC, a New York limited liability company, such limited partnership and companies formerly called "Project Pinto" (collectively referred to as the "Companies") with respect to the acquisition, installation and construction of certain land, improvements, fixtures, machinery, equipment, furnishings and/or other real and/or tangible personal property to constitute the establishment of one or more commercial or manufacturing and related facilities in the County (the "Project"). Pursuant to the Agreement, the Companies will pay an annual fee in lieu of ad valorem taxes to the County and the County will provide certain special source revenue credits to the Companies against such payments with respect to the Project. The Agreement will be delivered by the County pursuant to Title 12, Chapter 44, Code of Laws of South Carolina 1976, as amended, and the Ordinance.
The public hearing will be held in the Spartanburg County Council Chambers located at 366 North Church Street in Spartanburg, South Carolina at 5:15 p.m.
All interested parties should attend.
