NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
MENDHAM TOWNSHIP
ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that on Thursday, March 12, 2026 at 7:00 PM, in the Mendham Township Town Hall, Meeting Room, 2 West Main Street, Brookside, New Jersey 07926, a public hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Adjustment of Mendham Township ("Board") to consider a request for preliminary and final major site plan and variance approvals (Sec. 500-4.A: restaurant use not permitted in the R-1 Zone, expansion/modification of existing restaurant use proposed; Sec. 500-3.A: front yard setback – 60 ft. minimum, 0.16 ft. proposed; Sec. 500-3.A: building envelope – 12,000 sf. minimum, 3,460 sf. proposed) and such other variances, relief and/or waivers that may be deemed necessary by the Board in connection with the Application submitted by the Applicant, 353 Mendham Road LLC, for the property located at 353 Mendham Road West, Block 112, Lot 44 on the Tax Map of Mendham Township. The Applicant is proposing to construct a front porch expansion to the existing restaurant and a side expansion to accommodate a cooler box. Modifications to parking and site circulation are also proposed. The property is located in the R-1 Zone.
When the case is called you may appear either in person or by agent or attorney and present any objections which you may have to the granting of this Application. All documents related to this Application are on file and available for review by the public in the Office of the Zoning Board of Adjustment, Mendham Township Town Hall, 2 West Main Street, Brookside, New Jersey 07926, during that office's normal business hours. The hearing may be continued without further notice on such other dates as the Board may determine.
