NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Bondurant will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on March 12, 2026 in the Bondurant City Council Chambers at 200 2nd Street NE, Bondurant, Polk County, Iowa, to hear a request to modify the Zoning Map and the Future Land Use Map. The City recently completed a comprehensive update to its Zoning Code, which included the elimination of the U-1 Conservancy District. As a result of this update, the City must establish a new zoning district designation for property previously zoned U-1. The City is proposing to rezone these properties to a zoning district consistent with the current use of the property, or to a zoning district consistent with adjacent properties. The proposed rezoning will affect a total of seventy-six properties, and the proposed amendment of the Future Land Use Map will affect two properties. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
