NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Whereas on February 11, 2026, the Springfield Park District presented its Fiscal 2027 Tentative Annual Budget and Appropriations Summary to the Joint Committee of the Board of Trustees and the general public, and whereas, "A TENTATIVE BUDGET AND APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE", adopting a combined annual budget and appropriating such sums of such money as may be deemed necessary to defray all necessary expenses and liabilities of the Springfield Park District, Sangamon County, Illinois, for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2026 and ending April 30, 2027, and specifying the objects and purposes for which such appropriations are made and the amount appropriated for each object or purpose has been on file at the offices of the Springfield Park District and on the Springfield Park District web site: (https://www.springfieldparks.org/Resources/339217ad-fddb-4cde-b672-27a4896098e9/FY27%20Budget%20Ordinance_DRAFT.pdf). Whereas the aforementioned ordinance has been on file continuously since that date, during which period of time it has been made conveniently available to public inspection. Now, therefore, pursuant to 70 ILCS 1205/4-4, PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing on the adoption of the Fiscal 2027 BUDGET AND APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE of the Springfield Park District will be held at the Springfield Park District, Lincoln Greens Golf Course, 700 E.
