NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Greenville County Council, will conduct a public hearing on the proposed adoption of an Ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF NOT EXCEEDING TWO MILLION DOLLARS ($2,000,000) GREENVILLE COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA, GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS (DONALDSON FIRE SERVICE AREA PROJECT), SERIES 2026B; TO PRESCRIBE THE PURPOSES FOR WHICH THE PROCEEDS SHALL BE EXPENDED; TO PROVIDE FOR THE PAYMENT THEREOF; AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO" on April 7, 2026 in the Chambers of County Council, County Square, 301 University Ridge, Greenville, South Carolina 29601, at 6:00 p.m. (or as soon thereafter as other hearings are concluded). The above-referenced Bonds will be used to finance a new fire truck and various equipment and apparatus for Donaldson FSA and costs of issuance. For the payment of the principal of and interest on the Bonds authorized by said Ordinance, there shall be pledged the full faith, credit and taxing power of Greenville County and there shall be initially levied ad valorem taxes solely within the Donaldson Fire Service Area sufficient in amount to pay said principal and interest on the Bonds. At the time and place fixed for said public hearing all taxpayers, residents or other interested persons who appear will be given an opportunity to express their views for or against the adoption of the Ordinance.
