NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TOWN OF MARCY Re: Proposed Local Law Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 6:05 P.M. TAKE NOTICE, a public hearing will be held by the Town Board for the Town of Marcy at the Marcy Municipal Building and Town Hall, 8801 Paul Becker Road, Marcy, New York on Thursday the 26th of March, 2026, beginning at 6:05 P.M., prior to the regular scheduled Town Board meeting, concerning a proposed local law entitled "A Local Law to Change the Grievance Day for Assessments in the Town of Marcy", which will provide for the change in Grievance Day for the Town of Marcy, from the fourth Tuesday in May (May 26th, 2026) to Thursday, May 28th, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm in accordance with Section 512(1-a) of the Real Property Tax Law. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that a copy of the proposed local law is available for review at the office of the Town Clerk, 8801 Paul Becker Road, Marcy, New York during regular business hours: Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm and Friday from 8:30 am until 12:00 pm; or on the website for the Town of Marcy at www.townofmarcy.org. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that all persons will be given an opportunity to be heard on said proposed Local Law at the place and time aforesaid; or submitted to the Town Board c/o Town Clerk, Town of Marcy, 8801 Paul Becker Road, Marcy, NY 13403; marcytownclerk@gmail.com. TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that the Town Board Regular meeting scheduled for 6:00 PM will follow any public hearing(s); where the Town Board will consider the adoption of the proposed Local Law; and for any other business to come before the Board.
