NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Delaware County, Indiana, will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 9:00 A.M., in the Commissioners' Courtroom, Room 309A of the County Building, located at 100 West Main Street, Muncie, Indiana 47305. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public input on the following matters: 1. Amendment to the ordinances concerning the reduction of the speed limit, a speed limit of 20 miles per hour on Fox Run Lane commencing at Moore Road and to its intersection with Elk Point Dr. in Hamilton Township, Delaware County, Indiana. 2. Amendment to the ordinances concerning the reduction of the speed limit of 20 miles per hour on Vista View Dr. commencing at its intersection with Fox Run Lane and to its intersection with Elk Point Dr. in Hamilton Township, Delaware County, Indiana. 3. Amendment to the ordinances concerning the reduction of the speed limit of 20 miles per hour on Elk Point Dr. at its intersection with Vista View Dr. and its intersection Fox Run Lane in Hamiton Township, Delaware County, Indiana. 4. Amendment to ordinances concerning the increase of the speed limit to 30 miles per hour on 26th St. starting at its intersection with Hoyt Ave. and going west to its intersection with Tillotson Ave. in Center Township, Delaware County, Indiana. Public comments may be provided during the public hearing, and written comments may be submitted to the above-referenced address during, or prior to, the public hearing. Following the public hearing, the Board of Commissioners will make a final determination concerning the traffic speed control and all way stops identified above.
