NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby provided that Cooper Health System ("Applicant") has filed an application for Minor Subdivision and Preliminary & Final Site Plan with the City of Camden Planning Board. The subject property is identified Block 177, Lots 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 54, 55, 56, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64 & 65, which comprises the entire block bounded by Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd., 5th Street, Stevens Street and West Street (the "Property").
Applicant, and the adjoining land owner, Centro Comunal Borincano ("CCB"), have agreed to swap land and to permit Applicant to construct additional parking spaces for CCB. The purpose of this application is to approve the subdivision and to permit Applicant to undertake the parking construction and related stormwater improvements.
The Applicant is seeking Minor Subdivision and Preliminary & Final Site Plan approval for this project. The Applicant will be seeking a waiver from §870-244.F to permit no landscape islands in the parking lot. The Applicant will request any and all other variances the Board and its professional staff may deem necessary upon its review of the application.
The City of Camden Planning Board will conduct a public hearing on this application on June 18, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. via the Microsoft TEAMS platform. Interested parties should contact the Planning Office at AnMiller@ci.camden.nj.us to make arrangements to view the application documents. Any interested party may appear at said hearing via TEAMS and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the Planning Board. Please take further notice that the Planning Board may, at its discretion, adjourn, postpone, or continue said review from time to time and you are hereby notified that you should make diligent inquiry of the Planning Office concerning such adjournments, postponements or continuations.
