NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Be advised that the Randall County Council of Judges will meet on MONDAY, JULY 27, 2026 AT 12:00 P.M., in the 181st District Courtroom, Randall County Justice Center, 2309 Russell Long Blvd., Canyon, Texas, to consider and act upon the following items: •AUDITOR'S SALARY & BUDGET: To review, discuss and act upon the 2026-2027 Budget of the Randall County Auditor's office; including, but not limited to the setting of the Auditor's salary. •PURCHASING AGENT'S SALARY & BUDGET: To review, discuss and act upon the 2026-2027 Budget of the Randall County Purchasing Department; including, but not limited to the setting of the Purchasing Agent's salary. •COURT REPORTER'S SALARY: To review, discuss and act upon the 2026-2027 salary of the Official Court Reporters of the 47th, 181st, and 251st District Courts of Randall County, Texas. Copies of the proposed budgets for the Auditor and Purchasing Departments have been or will be provided to the Randall County Judge, and will be made available for public inspection at the office of the Randall County Judge or the Randall County Clerk during regular business hours. This notice is given, and the meeting is held, pursuant to Texas Local Government Code§§ 152.905 & 262.011, and Chapter 551, Texas Government Code. The Randall County Auditor is directed to have notice of the time, place and subject of this meeting to set the compensation of the county auditor, assistant auditors and court reporters published in a newspaper of general circulation in the county not earlier than the 30th or later than the 10th day before the date of the hearing.
