NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
SHASTA COUNTY AIR POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Shasta County Air Pollution Control Board will hold a public hearing in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, County Administration Center, 1450 Court Street, Room 263, Redding, California on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard for the Shasta County Air Pollution Control Board, County of Shasta, State of California to consider the proposed Shasta County Air Quality Management District (District) Budget for Fiscal Year 2026-27.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, at this public hearing, all interested persons may appear and be heard thereon.
All proposed actions are subject to amendment or modification by the Air Pollution Control Board.
Copies of the proposed budget and any supporting documents, including, but not limited to, a schedule of fees to be imposed by the District to fund its programs, are available for public inspection at the District office located at 1855 Placer Street, Suite 101, Redding, California. Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8a.m. to 5p.m., except County holidays. All interested parties are invited to submit written comments regarding the proposed budget prior to the hearing or participate in the public hearing. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities. To submit comments electronically, please forward them to shastacountybos@shastacounty.gov. To submit comments via U.S. Mail, please forward them to the Clerk of the Board to arrive no later than 5:00 p.m. one day prior to the meeting at the following address: Shasta County Clerk of the Board, 1450 Court Street, Suite 308B, Redding, CA 96001.
The formal adoption of the budget will occur at a separate meeting to be held at least two weeks after June 8, 2026.
PLEASE NOTE that any challenge of the proposed action in court may be limited to addressing only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence submitted to the Clerk of the Board at, or prior to, the public hearing.
