NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO ENACT PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 286
TAKE NOTICE that the Paradise Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 7:15 p.m., for the purpose of enacting proposed Ordinance No. 286, which Ordinance will amend Chapter 1 General Provisions by providing new definitions for in Chapter 1, Article II for care facility - treatment center; commercial use; industrial use, lighting fixtures - cutoff, full cutoff, fully shielded, shielded; and by deleting and amending the definition for industrial use – general. The hearing will be convened during the regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors, which starts at 6:00 p.m., at the Paradise Township Municipal Building, 5912 Paradise Valley Road, Paradise Valley, PA. After the hearing and during the continuance of the regular meeting, the Board will consider, if in order, the passage of Ordinance No. 286 as well as other business coming before the Board at that time. In lieu of the full text of the proposed Ordinance No. 286, the following summary is provided:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF PARADISE, MONROE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING CHAPTER 1, GENERAL PROVISIONS, ARTICLE II, DEFINITIONS BY PROVIDING NEW DEFINITIONS TO BE FOUND IN CHAPTER 1, ARTICLE II FOR 1) CARE FACILITY - TREATMENT CENTER; 2) COMMERCIAL USE; 3) INDUSTRIAL USE; 4) LIGHTING FIXTURES - CUTOFF, FULL CUTOFF, FULLY SHIELDED, SHIELDED; 5) BY DELETING AND AMENDING THE DEFINITION FOR INDUSTRIAL USE – GENERAL; AND 6) ADDING PROVISIONS FOR SEVERABILITY, REPEALER, AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
