NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TOWN OF HAMILTON

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TOWN OF HAMILTON NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Municipal Home Rule Law there has been presented to the Town Board of the Town of Hamilton, New York, at a regular meeting thereof held on September 11, 2025, proposed Local Law No. B-2025, titled, "A Local Law to Enact a New Zoning Law in the Town of Hamilton." Said Local Law, if enacted, will replace the Town of Hamilton Local Law No. 1 of 2009, and subsequent amendments thereto, in their entirety with a new comprehensive Zoning Law for all parcels situated in the Town of Hamilton including new definitions and permitted land uses and regulations. The full text of said Local Law is on file at the Town Clerk's Office at the Town Offices located at 38 Milford Street in the Town of Hamilton for inspection by all interested persons, and available online at https://www.townofhamiltonny.gov. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that on September 11, 2025 the Town Board determined that this proposed Local Law is a Type I Action in connection with SEQRA and determined that the Town Board will act as lead agency in this matter. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Town Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed Local Law at the Town Hall located at the Poolville Community Center located at 7484 Willey Road in the Town of Hamilton on December 4, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, at which time all persons interested will be heard. The public may mail or electronically submit comments on proposed Local Law No. B-2025 to the Town Clerk at townclerk@townofhamiltonny.gov by noon on December 4, 2025. SUZANNE K.
