NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING (VIRTUAL PUBLIC HEARING) TOWN OF WEST NEW YORK ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: that on the 9th day of April 2026, at 6:30 o'clock p.m., a public hearing will be held before the West New York Zoning Board of Adjustment on the application or appeal of the undersigned for a variance or other relief so as to permit: Applicant proposes to convert an existing vacant space into parking area for four (4) vehicles in the rear of the existing three (3) family dwelling. The property is located at 556 66th Street, West New York, New Jersey, and it is designated as Lot 9 in Block 162 on the West New York Tax Map. Applicant seeks Site Plan review and approval, along with variances for Minimum front yard (pre-existing non-conforming), Side Yards (pre-existing non-conforming), parking, and any other necessary variance(s) or waivers as may be required for the project. The meeting will be conducted remotely from the electronic meeting platform Zoom.us. In order to be considered: (1) written comments must be received at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting if sent via email or received by 12:00 p.m. the day prior to the meeting if sent via regular mail and; (2) the commenter/preparer of the written comment must appear via Zoom on order for the written comment to be read aloud and considered by the Board. Please be advised that the municipal building may be closed or access limited or restricted by the Town of West New York for the safety and protection of the public and municipal employees.
