NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Walnut Creek Water Access City of Windsor Heights Windsor Heights, Iowa Public Hearing on Proposed Contract Documents and Estimated Costs for Repair or Improvement. A Public hearing will be held by the City of Windsor Heights on the proposed contract documents (plans, specifications and form of contract) and estimated cost for the improvement at its meeting at 6:00 P.M. on October 20, 2025, at 1133 68th Street, Windsor Heights, Iowa 50324. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This paved water access project includes approximately 260 SY of 5" PCC, 75 TONS of stacked natural stone, a metal custom wayfinding sign mounted to a cast-in-place concrete footing, tree and shrub plantings, and seed surface restoration. The project is estimated to include more than 500 CY of excavation and is anticipated to require dewatering operations at the location where the water access meets the creek. Other miscellaneous construction items are required as defined in the bid documents. At said hearing, the Council will consider the plans, specifications, proposed form of contract, and estimated total cost for the project, the same now being on file in the office of the City Administrator, 1145 66th Street, Suite 1, Windsor Heights, Iowa 50324, reference to which is made for a more detailed and complete description of the proposed improvements, and at said time and place the said Council will also receive and consider any objections to said plans, specifications, estimate of cost, and form of contract made by any interested party.
