NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS AND PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD City of Peoria, Illinois 2025 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Peoria will hold two public hearings, one Thursday, March 5th at 5:30 PM in the Lincoln Room at the Lincoln Branch of the Peoria Public Library, 1312 W Lincoln, Peoria, Illinois and the other on Friday, March 6th at 8:30 AM in room 404 of Peoria City Hall, 419 Fulton Street. The purpose of the hearings is to obtain views and opinions from the public on the draft City of Peoria Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) covering the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership Grant, Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG), and Emergency Solutions Grant COVID funds (ESG-CV) and associated activities performed during the 2025 program year. In addition to the public hearings, a 15-day public comment period for the CAPER will be held from Tuesday, March 3rd through Tuesday, March 17th at 5:00 PM. A copy of the draft CAPER will also be available for review at the City of Peoria Community Development Department, City Hall Room 203, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A copy of the draft is also available online at https://www.peoriagov.org/212/Plans-and-Reports. Comments may also be delivered to Kathryn Murphy, Community Development Department, 419 Fulton Street, Room 203 Peoria, IL 61602 or kmurphy@peoriagov.org. All comments must be received by March 17th at 5:00 PM. The public hearings are open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend.
