NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS CITY OF COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VIRGINIA Notice is hereby given to all persons affected or interested that at the Colonial Heights City Council meeting to be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, in Council Chambers of City Hall, 201 James Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia, the City Council shall hold a public hearing to accept comments on the following: AN ORDINANCE NO. 25-20 To adopt a revised General Pay Plan Class and Salary Range that removes the Code Enforcement Supervisor position; adds Code Enforcement Inspector to Grade 14; adds Radio System IT Specialist to the list of Part-time/Seasonal/Temporary positions; and adopts the corresponding job descriptions and class specifications for such new positions. AN ORDINANCE NO. 25-23 To adopt a revised General Pay Plan Class and Salary Range that increases the hourly rate and range of certain part-time positions by $0.27 pursuant to the new minimum wage effective January 1, 2026. Copies of the proposed ordinances are on file for public examination during regular business hours in the City Clerk's Office in City Hall, 201 James Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia; on the City's website www.colonialheightsva.gov; or may be received by calling the City Clerk at 804-520-9360. All persons affected or interested are invited to be present at the public hearing of the City Council, to be held at the time and place stated above, when an opportunity will be given for them to be heard.
