The St. Albans City Council will hold a second reading and public hearing to consider proposed amendments to the City Ordinances and hold a public information meeting for proposed work in the City funded through the Statewide Spot Improvements grant project Statewide STP SRIN(45). The purpose of the ordinance amendment to Section 2819 and the creation of Section 2822 of Title 9 is to prohibit roosters within the City. The proposed amendments may be viewed at the City Clerk's Office, St. Albans City Hall, 100 No. Main St. or online at www.stalbansvt.com/ordinances. The purpose of the public information meeting for the STP SRIN(45) project is to inform and seek comments on proposed improvements including Stop sign LED beacons at the intersection of Aldis St. and No. Elm St. and button-activated pedestrian flashing beacons on No. Main St. at the mid-block of Taylor Park and on No. Elm St. at the intersection with Bellows St. The proposed improvements can be viewed at the City Clerk's office at the address above.
