NOTICE OF PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT MEETINGS
A Public Involvement Meeting (PIM) will be held on Monday, July 6th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Municipal Complex, located at 400 East Central Avenue, Mount Holly in the 1st Floor Training Room. The purpose of this meeting will be to review the proposed application submitted by Charles Knox, meet the developer, and ask any questions regarding the proposed project involving parcel #s 216240 & 206461-approximately 114.873 acres, which seeks to rezone the above-mentioned parcels from County R-1 to City Conditional District Single Family CD-SF. The proposed rezoning & annexation request proposes to construct up to 200 single family homes, and related amenities on the above-mentioned parcels. There will also be an additional Public Involvement Meeting (PIM) held on Monday, July 6th from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the Municipal Complex located at 400 East Central Avenue, Mount Holly in the 1st Floor Council Chambers. The purpose of this meeting will be to review the proposed application submitted by Chad Abernathy, meet the developer, and ask any questions regarding the proposed project involving parcel #s 177876, 177881, 177882, 177886, 177889, 177890, 203426, 203427, 208874, 177891, 214300, 312234, & 178009-approximately 70.96 acres, which seeks to rezone the above mentioned parcels from City R-12 and County R-20 to City Conditional District (B-3, L-I, and R-8MF). The proposed rezoning & annexation request proposes to construct up to 129 townhomes, up to 330,000 square feet of light industrial space, and up to 71,000 square feet of commercial space. As a note, public hearings on the rezonings/annexations will be called at a later date & will also be advertised. These PIMs will be a drop-in information session for interested parties to ask questions of the developer & City staff regarding this project. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
