NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BOARD OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG
The Board of Directors of the Industrial Development Board of the City of Lawrenceburg (the "Board") will hold a public meeting and public hearing on March 23, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Meeting Room, 1st Floor, Lawrenceburg Municipal Building, 25 Public Square, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. There will be considered at such meeting such business as may properly come before the Board including, but not limited to, considering a proposed Economic Impact Plan for Hampton Inn Hotel Project (the "Plan"), which addresses the development of a tract of land by GHD Hospitality, LLC and/or its affiliates. Upon approval by the Board, the Plan would be submitted to the County Commission of Lawrence County, Tennessee (the "County Commission"), and the Board of Mayor and Council of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee (the "City Council") for consideration. If the Plan is approved by the County Commission and the City Council, certain incremental tax revenues from the area that is the subject of the Plan would be made available to the Board to pay and/or pay debt service relating to tax increment financing obtained for a portion of the eligible project costs. The area that would be subject to the Plan consists of approximately 13 acres, located on Hampton Way, which is adjacent to State Highway 43 and north of Moores Lane in Lawrenceburg. A map of the area that would be subject to the Plan and which identifies the property within the Plan area may be viewed by the public at the offices of the Chamber of Commerce at 25 Public Square B, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, commencing March 16, 2026. At the hearing to be held at this meeting and at the meeting itself, members of the public will be allowed to express their views on the matters presented to the Board and may express their desire to speak by informing the presiding officer at the meeting. This Notice is published in compliance with Sections 8-44-101 to 8-44-106, inclusive, Tennessee Code Annotated, and other applicable provisions of law, including Tenn. Code Ann. § 7-53-312.
