Barnstable County HOME Consortium
Annual Action Plan for Program Year 2026
The Barnstable County HOME Consortium has prepared its draft Annual Action Plan for Program Year 2026 (PY26) (July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027). This plan outlines funding priorities and serves as the strategic and planning documents for Barnstable County's HOME Program which is funded by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The anticipated HUD allocation for PY26 is $400,000.00 plus approximately $34,553.60 in repurposed program income.

The Barnstable County HOME Consortium will conduct an in-person public meeting on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at:

The purpose of this public meeting is to obtain oral and/or written comment from citizens, public agencies, community organizations, and interested parties relative to the PY26 Annual Action Plan.

NOTICE OF DOCUMENT AVAILABILITY and PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD
The PY26 Annual Action Plan will be available for review by April 8, 2026 online at https://www.capecod.gov/departments/human-services/initiatives/housing-homelessness/home-program/ . Interpreters are available with advance request. A request for hard copies of the draft plan should be directed to Renie Hamman at 508.375.6622 or homeprogram@capecod.gov.
Submit written comments to: Barnstable County Department of Human Services, HOME Program, P.O. Box 427, Barnstable, MA 02630 or by email to homeprogram@capecod.gov. Comments will be accepted through May 11, 2026 and will be summarized and included in the final Plan submitted to HUD.
