PLANNING BOARD
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 7:00 PM in the Main Meeting Room of the Howell Township Municipal Building located at 4567 US Highway 9 North, 2nd Floor, Howell, New Jersey 07731 a public meeting will be held by the Howell Township Planning Board ("Board") for minor site plan and variance approvals (Sec. 118-11B: accessory structures prohibited in front yard, generators proposed in front yard along Kent Road) and such other variances, relief and/or waivers that may be required upon an analysis of the plans and testimony at the public meeting on the Application submitted by the Applicant, RavenVolt, Inc. (Application No. SP-1148), for the property located at 4900 US Highway 9 (Walmart), Block 74, Lot 9.02 on the Tax Map of Howell Township ("Property"). The Applicant is proposing to install two diesel generators on concrete pads, switchgear, relocate the existing utility meter and transformer to a new pad, and install concrete bollards, with all improvements proposed in the rear of the existing Walmart building facing Kent Road. The Property is located in the HD-1 (Highway Development) Zone.
When the case is called you may appear either in person or by agent or attorney and present any objections which you may have to the granting of this Application. All documents related to this Application are on file and available for public inspection at the Office of the Board Secretary at the Department of Community Development and Land Use located in the municipal building at 4567 US Highway 9 North, 2nd Floor, Howell, New Jersey 07731 during that office's regular business hours. The Board may, at its discretion, adjourn, postpone, or continue the said hearing from time to time, and you are hereby notified that you should make diligent inquiry of the Board Secretary concerning such adjournments, postponements, or continuations.
