Under and by virtue of an order of the Clerk of Superior Court of Buncombe County, North Carolina, made and entered in the action entitled County of Buncombe County versus Bryan Tallant, DFS Services, LLC d/b/a Discover Bank, the State of North Carolina, Ronald Rome and Veronica Rome, the undersigned commissioner will on the 17th Day of April 2026, offer for sale and sell for cash, to the last and highest bidder at public auction, at the Buncombe County Courthouse door, in Asheville, North Carolina at 11:00 a.m. the following described real property lying and being in Buncombe County:
BEING all of LOTS 3, 4 and 5 as shown on that plat recorded in Plat Book 21, at page 21, Buncombe County Registry, reference to which plat is hereby made and incorporated herein for a more particular description of said lots.
BEING the identical property conveyed in deed to William H. Tallant as recorded in Book 5654, at page 440, Buncombe County Registry.
BEING also the same property described by Buncombe County Tax Parcel Identification Number 9618-96-7879 and addressed as 539 Deaverview Road.
The sale will be made subject to all outstanding county taxes and all local improvement assessments against the above described property not included in the judgment in the above-entitled cause. A deposit of five (5) percent of the successful bid will be required. The sale will be held open for ten (10) days for upset bids as required by law.
