NOTICE OF RECORDS TO BE DESTROYED
The records custodian of Kewanee Community Unit School District #229 is announcing that district student temporary school records are scheduled to be destroyed July 31, 2026 for all students who graduated in 2021, or permanently withdrew from Kewanee CUSD #229 five years prior to July 31, 2026. Information in the records which may be of continued assistance to the student may be transferred to the parent or to the student if the student has succeeded to the rights of the parents.
The Kewanee CUSD #229 will make every attempt to notify parents and/or students of their right to obtain the student records prior to destruction. If you are interested in requesting student records, you may do so in writing to:
