NOTICE OF RESCHEDULING OF PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETINGS AS PART OF AN OUTREACH PROGRAM FOR PLAINFIELD, INDIANA REGARDING ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE TOWN

NOTICE OF RESCHEDULING OF PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETINGS AS PART OF AN OUTREACH PROGRAM FOR PLAINFIELD, INDIANA REGARDING ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE TOWN The Town of Plainfield, Hendricks County, Indiana, (the "Town") is proposing to enlarge and extend the boundary limits of said Town to include the following described territory ("Territory"): The property that is the subject of this Territory consists of approximately 1188.329 acres and is generally located along SR 39 including area south of Belleville and surrounding the Deer Creek Golf Club. All landowners of the annexation Territory have voluntarily requested that the Town consider such annexation. The Town previously planned to hold one (1) hour public information meetings on the following dates: Saturday, June 6th at 10:00 AM (Local Time) Saturday, June 6th at 2:00 PM (Local Time) Tuesday, June 9th at 12:00 PM (Local Time) Tuesday, June 9th at 6:00 PM (Local Time) Wednesday, June 10th at 5:30 PM (Local Time), and Wednesday, June 10th at 7:00 PM (Local Time) in the Council Chambers at the Plainfield Civic Center, 206 W Main St, Plainfield, Indiana 46168, to discuss annexation of the property in accordance with the provisions of Indiana Code Sections 36-4-3 et.seq. Those dates have been rescheduled to be held in the same location for one (1) hour duration at the following dates and times: Saturday, June 27th at 10:00 AM (Local Time) Saturday, June 27th at 2:00 PM (Local Time) Tuesday, June 30th at 12:00 PM (Local Time) Tuesday, June 30th at 6:00 PM (Local Time) Wednesday, July 1st at 5:30 PM (Local Time), and Wednesday, July 1st at 7:00 PM (Local Time) A legal description of the area being considered for annexation is available and can be inspected at the Clerk's office at the Plainfield Civic Center, 206 W. Main Street, Plainfield, Indiana 46168 during regular business hours. Alternately, the information can be viewed online at https://www.townofplainfield.com/1568/Current-Projects under the annexations tab. At the public information meetings, the Town will provide the following information: Maps showing the proposed boundaries of the annexation territory. Proposed plans for extension of capital and noncapital services in the annexation territory, including proposed dates of extension as well as a copy of the preliminary written fiscal plan.
