NOTICE OF RULE DEVELOPMENT BY THE SCHOOL BOARD OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA The School Board of Okaloosa County, Florida, pursuant to the provisions of Section 120.54, Florida Statutes, hereby gives notice that it is developing a proposal for the closure of Longwood Elementary School and Mary Esther Elementary School at the end of the 2025-2026 school year, and to provide for the surplus and disposal of real property. The specific legal authority for the proposed rule is Sections 1001.32(2), 1001.42(4), and 1013.28, Florida Statutes. The entire text of the proposed rule is on file and available for inspection during regular office hours in the office of the Superintendent of Schools, at the School Board's Central Administration Complex, 202A Highway 85 North, Niceville, Florida.
