NOTICE OF RULE DEVELOPMENT BY
THE SCHOOL BOARD OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA
The School Board of Okaloosa County, Florida, pursuant to the provisions of §120.54, Florida Statutes, hereby gives notice that it is developing a new School Board rule 04-40, the title of which is: Student Check In/Out During the School Day. The proposed new rule deals with requirements for processes to be used at all district schools for students to check into and out of school during the school day. The purpose and effect of the proposed amendments to the proposed new policy is to provide uniform rules for the processes required at all district schools for students to check into and out of school during the school day.
The specific legal authority for the proposed policy is §1001.41, Florida Statutes. Any interested person may obtain a preliminary draft of the proposed policy from Mari McGowan, 202A Highway 85 North, Niceville, Florida, 32578, telephone number (850) 833-5895, at no cost.
