NOTICE OF RULE DEVELOPMENT BY
THE SCHOOL BOARD OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA
The School Board of Okaloosa County, Florida, pursuant to the provisions of §120.54, Florida Statutes, hereby gives notice that it is developing a new School Board policy which will amend the current policy 04-25, the title of which is: Administering Medicines to Students. The proposed amendments under the new policy implement legislative and rule changes regarding acceptable epinephrine delivery devices for students to carry while at school. The purpose and effect of the proposed amendments to the policy are to define acceptable epinephrine delivery devices for students to carry while at school. The specific legal authority for the proposed policy is §1001.41, Florida Statutes.
