NOTICE OF SALE AT PUBLIC AUCTION OF REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY CARROLLTON EXEMPTED VILLAGE SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION AND NO LONGER NEEDED FOR SCHOOL PURPOSES
Under the provisions of Ohio Revised Code Section 3313.41, et seq., the Board of Education of the Carrollton Exempted Village School District, Carroll County Ohio, will conduct a public auction to be held at 107 Third St. NE, Carrollton, Ohio (in the lobby of the BH gymnasium) on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 5:00pm for the purpose of offering for sale approximately 5.765 acres of land identified by the County Auditor as:
Permanent Parcel #100060062000 having a street address of 60 Third St. NE, Carrollton, Ohio and consisting of approximately 0.18 acres;
Permanent Parcel #100060063000, being a part of Lot 4 in Atkinson's Extension in Carrollton, Ohio and consisting of approximately 0.298 acres;
Permanent Parcel #100060056000 and #100060060000 having a street address of 100 Third St. NE, Carrollton, Ohio and consisting of approximately 4.06 acres and 1.00 acres respectively;
Permanent Parcel #100060064000, a parking lot on the west side of the alley that runs between Second St. NE and Third St. NE, Carrollton, Ohio and consisting of approximately 0.227 acres.
All tracts will be combined and then sold as smaller individual parcels and then all the parcels will be sold as one entire lot.
The terms of sale shall require cash, a certified check, or a cashier's check in the amount of $10,000 payable to the Board of Education from the highest bidder as security for faithful performance should the bid be accepted, balance in full at closing. The real estate will be sold in AS IS condition. The sale of the real estate to the successful bidder shall not be final until accepted by resolution of the Board. The Board is expected to consider and either accept or reject the highest bidder on December 9, 2025. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject all bids and waive any and all informalities.
