Cruz-Molina Juveniles TO: FEDERICO CRUZ-MOLINA, putative father of a female juvenile born on 2/12/18 in Mecklenburg County, Charolotte, North Carolina TO: JOHN DOE: putative father of a female juvenile born on 10/17/23 in Cumberland County, Fayetteville, North Carolina and a female juvenile born on 2/12/18 in Mecklenburg County, Charlotte, North Carolina Take notice that a Petition seeking to terminate your parental rights has been filed in the District Court of Cumberland County, North Carolina; that you may file an answer to the Petition within forty (40) days after 10/2/2025, and failure to answer the Petition within the time prescribed may result in your parental rights being terminated. A copy of the answer must also be served on the Petitioner and his/her attorney. Take further notice that the Court will conduct a hearing to determine whether one or more grounds alleged in the Petition exist. If the Court finds that one or more grounds exist, the Court will proceed at that hearing or a later hearing to determine whether parental rights should be terminated. Notice of the date, time, and location of the hearing will be mailed to by the Petitioner after you file an answer or thirty (30) days from the date of service if you do not file an answer, upon receipt of an address. If you are indigent, you are entitled to appointed counsel and may contact the Cumberland County Clerk of Superior Court, Juvenile Division, at (910) 475-3000 immediately to request the same. Counsel has provisionally been appointed for you and the appointment of the provisional counsel will be reviewed by the Court at the first hearing after service. You are entitled to attend any hearing affecting your parental rights; as described above, the Petitioner will mail you notice of the date, time, and location of the hearing upon receipt of your address.
