NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING/EXECUTIVE SESSION FIREFIGHTER'S COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT & BATTALION CHIEF'S COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT The City Council of the City of Fort Walton Beach will hold a Special Meeting/Executive Session on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the Fort Walton Beach Council Chambers at 107 Miracle Strip Parkway SW, Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The purpose of the Executive Session is to hold discussions between the chief executive officer of the City, or his or her representative, and the City Council regarding the Firefighter's Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Battalion Chief's Collective Bargaining Agreement. Pursuant to Section 447.605(1) and 286.011 Florida Statutes, this meeting is closed and exempt from the public. In attendance will be Mayor Nic Allegretto and City Council Members Logan Browning, Gloria DeBerry, Bryce Jetter, Ben Merrell, Debi Riley, David Schmidt, and Payne Walker; City Manager Jason Davis; City Attorney Jeffrey Burns; Finance Director Nicole Nabors; Human Resources Director Derek Mattingly; Fire Chief Thearon Shipman; and Labor Attorney Mark Bonfanti.
