NOTICE OF THE METROPOLITAN DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF MARION COUNTY, INDIANA OF A RECOMMENDATION TO ENTER PUBLIC-PRIVATE AGREEMENT AND OF A PUBLIC HEARING WITH RESPECT THERETO

NOTICE OF THE METROPOLITAN DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF MARION COUNTY, INDIANA OF A RECOMMENDATION TO ENTER PUBLIC-PRIVATE AGREEMENT AND OF A PUBLIC HEARING WITH RESPECT THERETO Notice is hereby given that the Metropolitan Development Commission of Marion County, Indiana (the "Commission"), acting pursuant to IC 5-23, et seq. (the "Act"), will hold a public hearing at 1:00 PM, local time, on December 17, 2025, in the Public Assembly Room, 2nd Floor of the City-County Building, 200 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46204, concerning a recommendation to the Commission to award a public-private agreement for the development, construction, financing, operation, and/or transfer of certain public projects related to the City Market and Whistler Plaza, in accordance with the Act. Pursuant to the Act, the Commission requested proposals and qualifications to enter a public-private partnership for the development, construction, financing, operation, and/or transfer of a project in Indianapolis. After review and analysis of proposals received, a recommendation has been made to the Commission to award the public-private agreement to Hagerman Construction (the "Developer") of Indianapolis, IN. Copies of the proposals and a written explanation of the basis upon which the recommendation is being made can be viewed at the offices of the Department of Metropolitan Development, located at the City-County Building, 200 E. Washington Street, Suite 2041, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204, during normal business hours. The Commission's office is at the City-County Building, and it can be contacted by phone at 317-327-5155. This notice of public hearing is required by Indiana Code 5-23-5-9. The public is invited to comment on any of the matters herein noted, and all taxpayers, residents or interested parties who appear will be given a reasonable opportunity to express their views on the recommendation.
