NOTICE PUBLIC HEARING and COMMENT PERIOD For CITY OF EDMOND Consolidated Annual Action Plan ON THE USE OF Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) FUNDS FOR FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR 2026 The City of Edmond hereby announces its intention to hold public hearings, a public comment period, and public meetings to discuss its 2026 Annual Action Plan for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and proposed application for Section 108 Loan Guarantee funding. The City of Edmond receives funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, for the purpose of carrying out community development and affordable housing activities. The purpose of the public hearings and public meetings is to provide citizens with information about the City of Edmond's proposed use of CDBG funds, to provide an opportunity for citizens to comment on the proposed uses of funds, and to assist the City of Edmond in preparing its Annual Action Plan for the program year beginning October 1, 2026. The City of Edmond has been awarded $467,780 in CDBG Entitlement funds, for the 2nd year of the 5-Year Consolidated Plan. The public hearings and public meetings will be held at the following times and locations: 1st Public Hearing: Date: June 18,2026 Time: 5:00 p.m. Location: City Council Chambers, 22 E Main St, Edmond, OK 73034 Final Public Hearing and Recommendations to City Council: Date: July 27, 2026 Time: 5:30 p.m. Location: City Council Chambers, 22 E Main St, Edmond, OK 73034 The City of Edmond welcomes comments on the proposed use of CDBG funds. Citizens may review the proposed plan and submit written comments to the Housing and Community Resource Staff, City of Edmond, 22 E Main St, Edmond, OK 73034, or via email to cdbg@edmondok.com. The comment period begins on June 22, 2026, and ends on July 22, 2026. Plan Documents will be posted to the Housing & Community Resource Webpage and a printed copy will be available at City Hall Front Desk at 22 E Main Street, Edmond, OK 73034. The City of Edmond will make every effort to provide reasonable accommodation for those citizens who require assistance to participate in the public hearings and meetings.
