If you fail to file your answer within the required time, a default judgment may be entered against you for the relief demanded in the complaint. This is a personal injury action filed by Mr. Clifford's passenger, Daisy Henry, involving a motor vehicle accident that occurred on 11/9/23. Defendant filed a Third Party Complaint against Mr. Clifford. The relief demanded is that in the event Plaintiff recovers a judgment against or fault or liabilty is imposed against Defendant in connection to Plaintiff's personal injury claims, Defendants are entitled to allocate fault pursuant to AS 09.17.080 and Alaska R. Civ P. 14(c) to Mr. Clifford to the extent of his percentage of fault; and an award of reasonable costs and attorney's incurred in connection with their Third Party Complaint. Mr, Clifford has been made a party to this action because the unexpected actions of Mr. Clifford caused the accident. Mr. Clifford was driving at a high rate of speed, hit his brakes, causing his vehicle to slide until the rear passenger door struck Mr. Snoen's vehicle's rear end, causing the subject accident.
