NOTICE TO BIDDERS – CHAMPLIN BEACH PIER PROJECT
The Town of Urbana will receive sealed bids for the Champlin Beach Pier Project until 3:00 PM, Friday, January 23, 2026 at the Town Hall, 8014 Pleasant Valley Rd., Bath, NY 14810, Attn: Deanna Tompkins. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened via teleconference at 3:15 PM.
Bids must be submitted on the provided forms, in duplicate, in a sealed envelope labeled with the project title and bidder's name. A 5% bid bond or certified check and a Non-Collusive Bidding Certification are required. Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the Contract Sum will be required from the successful bidder. No bidder may withdraw a bid for 45 days after opening. The Town is tax exempt.
Bid documents will be available beginning December 5, 2025 at www.townofurbana.com by email at clerk@townofurbana.com, or at the Town Hall. No deposit required.
A Pre-Bid Conference and site walk-through will be held December 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Champlin Beach. Addenda issued from this meeting will be provided to all plan holders.
Project start is anticipated April 1, 2026, with substantial completion December 1, 2026 and final completion December 15, 2026.
The Town of Urbana is an Equal Opportunity Employer. 30% MWBE participation is required. Prevailing wage rates apply. The successful bidder must submit an Affirmative Action and MWBE Policy Statement prior to award.
The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, re-advertise, or waive informalities.
