NOTICE TO BIDDERS CITY OF FORT SMITH SOLID WASTE DEPARTMENT VEHICLE WASH BAY Sealed proposals for the City of Fort Smith SOLID WASTE DEPARTMENT VEHICLE WASH BAY, Fort Smith, Arkansas will be received by the City of Fort Smith Department of Solid Waste until 2:00 p.m., September 25th, 2025, at the Solid Waste Department conference room, Solid Waste Administration Building, 5900 Commerce Rd., Fort Smith, Arkansas, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bids received after the stated time will be returned unopened. Bids may be mailed to the City of Fort Smith, Attention: Zachary Shaver, Purchasing / Facilities Administrator, City of Fort Smith, PO Box 1908, Fort Smith, Arkansas, 72902. Bids will be based on a single lump sum and will incorporate all required work. The project consists of a pre-engineered metal building containing one automatic vehicle wash bay, one exterior manual wash bay, and associated concrete paving areas. The automatic and manual wash equipment are not included in this contract. Physical copies of the Contract Documents, consisting of bid documents, contract forms, project drawings, and the project manual, may be examined after September 08, 2025, at the following locations: Studio 6 Architects, 1120 Garrison Avenue, Ste. 1A, Fort Smith, AR 72901 Fort Smith Blueprint Inc., 2001 Rogers Ave. Suite B, Fort Smith, AR 72901 No physical copies of the Contract Documents will be provided. Electronic copies of the Contract Documents will be available for downloading from an online file sharing site after September 08, 2025. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. All Bidders must be licensed in the State of Arkansas under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
