NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the President of Historic Huguenot Street until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025 located at 88 Huguenot Street, New Paltz, NY 12561, at which time and place said sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing and/or placing of the following materials:
Bevier-Elting House Restoration
The Bevier-Elting House (ca.1735-ca. 1790) 84 Huguenot Street, New Paltz, NY 12561, is part of Historic Huguenot Street's ten-acre National Historic Landmark District known for its architectural and historic significance. The work is funded in part by the Historic Preservation Fund, administered by the National Park Service, Department of the Interior. The funding of which is subject to having all work items meet the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties. The bidders are required to comply with DASNY Non-discrimination and MWBE goals in hiring and awards of sub contracts. The MWBE target goals for this project are 20% of the contract amount.
Project Bid Documents - Drawings and Specifications Manual will be available on September 3, 2025. To receive, please email josephine@huguenotstreet.org.
The Bevier-Elting House will be available for inspection by Bidders on Friday, September 12, 2025, 9 am to 12 pm. The Architect will be present and receive any questions and respond by email Addenda to all bidders at the same time. All Bidders must register their interest in bidding on the Project with the Architect and are encouraged to inspect the windows during this time period.
All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes plainly marked

Historic Huguenot Street (HHS) reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities at their discretion, and to award contracts in a manner deemed to be in the best interest of HHS even if such award is to other than the lowest bidder.
