OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Contract Documents may be obtained only at the offices of Sage 1, LLC, 560 Main Street, 1H, Allenhurst, NJ 07711 at the address and hours set forth above upon receipt of payment in the amount of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each set of Contract Documents. No refunds will be made. Checks shall be made payable to Kings Landing. BID SECURITY: Bid Security is required in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) CONSENT OF SURETY: Certificate from a Surety Company is required indicating consent to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the Contract Documents. MAINTENANCE BOND: A Maintenance Bond is required in an amount to be equal to 20% of the total amount of the Bid and must be in effect for one (1) year after the completion date. BID SUBMISSION PROCEDURES: Bids must be submitted intact on the Bid Form contained in the Contract Documents and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside with the name of the project and the name and address of the Bidder. Bids may be delivered to the Owner prior to Bid Opening and Reading at the Address for Submitting Bids no later than April 3, 2026 at 2:00 pm. Bids may be brought in person to the Bid Opening and Reading at the location specified below but will not be accepted after April 6, 2026 at 2:00 pm. The right is also reserved to award any, all, or none of the Base Bid or any Supplemental Bids. ADDENDA AND INTERPRETATIONS: No interpretation of the meaning of the Drawings, Specifications or other prebid documents will be made to any bidder orally. Every request from such interpretation should be in writing addressed to the Engineer at the address given above and to be given consideration must be received at least ten (10) working days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Any and all such interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written addenda to the Specifications which, if issued, will be mailed by certified mail, with return receipt requested, to all prospective bidders (at the respective addresses furnished for such purposes). Mailing will be timed so as to have the addenda to the contractors no later than seven (7) days, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays excepted, prior to the date for acceptance of bids. All addenda discussed shall become part of the contract documents.
