NOTICE TO BIDDERS
SECTION 00 11 16 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Notice is hereby given that the Town Council for the Town of Brownsburg, Indiana (the "Owner") will receive sealed bids for a drainage improvements project titled Town of Brownsburg White Lick Creek Bank Stabilization (the "Project"). The Work of the Project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following:
Streambank structural and bioengineered stabilization and aesthetic improvements along White Lick Creek in Arbuckle Acres Park, including riprap armoring, rootwad installations, floodplain shelf restoration, and natural stone walls and access features.
Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, October 2, 2025. Sealed bids shall be submitted to the attention of Aaron Kaytar, Capital Projects & Procurements Sr. Manager, 61 N. Green Street, Brownsburg, Indiana 46112. Sealed Bids shall be received by the Town Hall Receptionist at 61 N. Green Street, Brownsburg, Indiana 46112 until 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, October 2, 2025, after which Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. No late bids will be accepted and all bids received after 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, October 2, 2025, will remain sealed and will be returned to sender unopened.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. local time at the Brownsburg Town Hall located at 61 N. Green Street, Brownsburg, Indiana 46112 to familiarize prospective Bidders with this Project. Attendance is not mandatory, though prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
Physical bound sets of the Project Drawings and Project Manual (the "Contract Documents") may be examined Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. within the Town Manager's Office at the Brownsburg Town Hall, 61 N. Green Street, Brownsburg, IN 46112.

Any prospective Bidder who is in doubt as to the meaning or intent of any part of the Bidding Documents, or finds a discrepancy or omission therein, may submit a written request for clarification via email to Brian Powers (brian.powers@clarkdietz.com) at Clark Dietz, Inc. No verbal questions or comments will be taken or addressed. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. An up-to-date Plan Holder's List may be viewed at www.questcdn.com.
Neither the Town of Brownsburg nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidders shall assure that they have obtained complete set of specifications and Contract Documents and shall assume the risk of any errors or omissions in bids prepared in reliance on incomplete sets of specifications and Contract Documents.
Each Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Project site(s) and for reading and being thoroughly familiar with the Contract Documents and Specifications. The failure or omission of any Bidder to do any of the foregoing shall in no way relieve any Bidder from any obligation with respect to its Bid.
If Owner awards the contract for the Work, such award shall be to the responsible Bidder submitting the lowest responsive Bid as determined by the Owner.
All applicable laws, ordinances, and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over construction of the projects shall apply to the Projects throughout.
The Town of Brownsburg acknowledges its responsibility to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
