NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids for a single prime contract bid will be received by the Portage Area Regional Transportation Authority (PARTA) located at their Administrative Offices, 2000 Summit Road, Kent, Ohio 44240, until 2:00 pm EST, Monday April 13, 2026. This will be for furnishing the materials and performing the labor for the renovation of an 8,100 square foot administrative office space for public use as indicated in the contract documents. A pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 2:00 pm at 2000 Summit Road, Kent, Ohio 44240. Bids will be opened immediately after the 2:00pm deadline for submission, as provided by law and in accordance with the plan and specifications. Documents and list of plan holders are available at www.SEblueprint.com. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, by the date and time specified, and marked: "PARTA – Admin. Interior Renovation" Attn: Ashley Forbes – Procurement Manager PARTA reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities in the bidding that is in the best interest of PARTA and in accordance with all applicable laws. No bidder may withdraw their bid (other than permitted by O.R.C. 153.54) within thirty (30) days of the actual date of the opening of the bids thereof. Copies of plans, specifications and bid forms will be forwarded from SE Blueprint (www.seblueprint.com) and are available for purchase by the bidders at actual cost. If any addenda are issued, SE Blueprint will notify all plan holders. It will be the responsibility of the plan holders to request, and pay if applicable, a copy of any addenda. Bids from individuals/entities that are presently disbarred, suspended, or proposed for debarment by the state of Ohio or the federal government will be disqualified. Bidders are advised that: in accordance with the provisions of O.R.C. Section 153.59 Equal Employment Opportunity Conditions are applicable to this bid. FEDERAL PREVAILING WAGE RATES APPLY TO THIS CONTRACT. The current wage determination is included with the bid documents. In addition, minimum wage rate requirements of the O.R.C.
