NOTICE TO BIDDERS Owner: Near Northwest Neighborhood, Inc. 1007 Portage Ave, South Bend, IN 46616 Project/Work: Renovation Construction of a Duplex (two-family home) at 915 Harrison Ave, South Bend, IN Notice is hereby given that Near Northwest Neighborhood (NNN) will receive sealed bids for the above described "Project/Work" at 1007 Portage Ave, South Bend, IN 46616. Bids can be mailed, delivered by hand or sent by email to nnnconstmngr@nearnorthwest.org. Sealed bids are due no later than 4:30 p.m. EST on May 28th, 2026. Such bids will be opened publicly and read aloud at the NNN offices at 1007 Portage Ave, South Bend, IN. No late bids will be accepted. All vendors must be licensed to perform construction work in St. Joseph County, Indiana. The Work consists of, but is not necessarily limited to the following: New Construction of a duplex, two-family home. All bids and the contractor qualifications must be submitted on the approved bid form. Construction work will commence as soon as practical after the bid opening and award of the contract. This Work will be funded with CDBG funds, through the city of South Bend and the US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). All contractors must follow Federal Contract Provisions which are contained in the bid packet.
