NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Township of Hazlet, Monmouth County, New Jersey for the 2026 CONCRETE IMPROVEMENTS and opened and read in public at the Town Hall, 1766 Union Ave, Hazlet, New Jersey on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 10:00 AM prevailing time.
Bid Documents and Specifications may be obtained at the Township Engineer's Office at 39 Leocadia Court, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730 during regular business hours 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Or bids can be found on the township's website www.HazletTwp.org – Search department- Finance & Purchasing- Bid/RFP Opportunities. Only bidders who have obtained Bid Documents will be allowed to submit bid proposals.
Proposals must be made on the Standard Proposal Forms in a manner designated in the Bid Specifications, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the work on the outside, addressed to the Township of Hazlet, labeled: 2026 Concrete Improvements and must be accompanied by all items identified in the Bid Specifications.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and NJ.AC. 17:27.
Bidders are also required to comply with other provisions of Law including, but not limited to, the requirements of:
N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 (P.L. 1977, c.33, Disclosure of Ownership)N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (P.L. 2004, c. 57, Business Registration)N.J.S.A. 34.11-56.48 (Public Works Contractor Registration)
The Mayor and Committee reserve the right to reject any or all bids for any cause whatsoever. The award or rejection of bids will occur within sixty (60) days of receipt of bids, at which time all bid guarantees, if applicable, will be returned in compliance with Local Public Contracts Law.
