NOTICE TO BIDDERS ELECTRA HOUSING AUTHORITY INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) IFB NO. EHA-2026-001 The Electra Housing Authority (EHA) is soliciting sealed bids from qualified and licensed contractors for: ELECTRICAL UPGRADES – DWELLING UNIT INTERIOR The project consists of electrical wiring replacement and related electrical upgrades as needed throughout dwelling units located site-wide within the Electra Housing Authority. Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. local time on July 22, 2026, at: Electra Housing Authority Attn: Allyson Thrash, Executive Director 600 N Moore Street #45 Electra, Texas 76360 Bids received after the stated deadline will not be accepted. All bids received shall be time-stamped, remain sealed, and be stored in a secure location until the public bid opening. Sealed bids will be publicly opened at 2:15 p.m. local time on July 22, 2026, at the Electra Housing Authority Office, 600 N Moore Street #45, Electra, Texas 76360, in the presence of at least one witness. An abstract of bids will be prepared and made available for public inspection. A bid guarantee equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount is required. Assurance of completion requirements will apply in accordance with the Electra Housing Authority Procurement Policy. Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder whose bid meets the requirements of the Invitation for Bids. The Electra Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in the bids received.
