NOTICE TO INTERESTED PERSONS AND PROPERTY OWNERS WITHIN 200 FEET OF BLOCK 11 LOT 1 BOROUGH OF SEASIDE HEIGHTS, OCEAN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that on May 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in the Municipal Building of the Borough of Seaside Heights Municipal Offices, 901 Boulevard & Sherman Avenue, Seaside Heights, New Jersey, the Seaside Heights Planning Board will hold a hearing on the application of the undersigned, at which time and place all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.
The application is for Block 11 Lot 1 as shown on the Borough of Seaside Heights Tax Map and is located at 203 Boulevard, Seaside Heights, Ocean County, New Jersey. This property is in the Redevelopment Zone. The Borough Council previously authorized a Redevelopment Plan for this location. The project involves the former Bamboo Bar site. The plan calls a 6 level multi-use complex with parking and retail on the street level along with five floors above the ground level to include 48 residential condominium units along with a pool deck and amenities.
The applicant is seeking Board approval of a Preliminary and Final Major Site Plan. The application seeks a variance from the height allowed in this Redevelopment Zone. The height allowed is 67 feet. The height requested is 73 Feet 3 inches which is interpreted to be a C variance since it is less than 10% of the permitted height. The applicant also seeks a waiver from the Redevelopment Plan to allow two penthouse units on the top floor. Further, the applicant seeks any additional variances or waivers required to obtain Board approval
Copies of the application and plans are available for review during normal business hours at the Borough of Seaside Heights Municipal Offices. The planning board office is located at 100 Grant Avenue, Seaside Heights, NJ. The planning board meeting will be conducted at 901 Boulevard & 116 Sherman Avenue, Seaside Heights, NJ.
