NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS
The Altoona Board of Adjustment will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, at 6:30 PM in the City Council Chambers at Altoona City Hall, 900 Venbury Drive, Altoona, Iowa. The meeting can also be joined via Zoom using the link below.
The purpose of the said hearing is to consider a request from property owners Marco Properties L.L.C., and I-80 Business Park II L.L.C. This property is generally located in the southeast corner of NE 70th Avenue and 34th Avenue NW. The property is zoned M-1 (Limited Industrial) and currently allows outdoor storage as a conditional use per Chapter 168.14(3). The applicant is seeking a conditional use permit to create an outdoor storage yard. The lot is legally described as follows:

The Board of Adjustment of Altoona, Iowa may by special permit, after holding a public hearing, authorize the conditional use permit to allow for outdoor storage.
