NOTICE TO REGISTERED VOTERS RESIDING IN FIRE DISTRICT NO. 1, FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, SOMERSET COUNTY, N.J. NOTICE OF PUBLIC VOTE ON PROPOSED 2026 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS BUDGET PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that a vote will be held on the proposed 2026 Capital Improvements Budget for Fire District No.1 in the amount of $1,869,000.00, as required by N.J.S.A. 40A:14-84 and 14-76. The vote will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, between the hours of 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM at the Fire District No. 1 Office, located at 370 Campus Drive, Suite 102, Somerset, NJ. The introduction and approval of the 2026 budget will occur at the regular Commissioners meeting on Monday, November 24, 2025, starting at 8:00 PM at the Millstone Valley Volunteer Fire Department, located at 2365 Amwell Road, Somerset, NJ. The final hearing and adoption of the budget will take place at the regular Commissioners meeting on Monday, January 12, 2026, beginning at 8:00 PM at the Elizabeth Avenue Volunteer Fire Department, located at 2 Wiley Drive, Somerset, NJ.
