NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS
Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of Town of Yorktown, Delaware County, Indiana, that the proper legal officers will consider the following additional appropriations in excess of the budget for the current year at their regular meeting place at Yorktown Council Meeting Room, 9312 W Smith St, Yorktown, Indiana, at 6:00 pm on April 20, 2026. Fund Name: 2202 LRS Capital Outlays Local Road and Street Land 2202002441 $200,000, 2211 Park Nonreverting Operating Other Services and Charges Repairs & Maintenance 2211001336 $15,000, 2236 Rainy Day Other Services and Charges 2236001339 $12,456.81, 2236 Rainy Day Machinery & Equipment 2236001444 $14,851.81. Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance (Department). The Department will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
