NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF DETERMINATION AND ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the Town of Plainfield, Indiana (the "Town") that the Town Council will meet at the hour of 7:00 P.M. (Local Time) on October 27, 2025, to consider the additional appropriation of the bonds described herein. The Council considers such additional appropriation necessary to meet the extraordinary emergency existing at this time:
An appropriation in the amount of not to exceed $6,500,000 on account of the cost of the construction of capital improvements and repairs throughout the Town, the acquisition of equipment and technology, and incidental expenses in connection therewith (collectively, the "Project"), and bond issuance costs. The funds to meet such additional appropriation are to be provided by the issuance and sale of general obligation bonds by the Town.
The foregoing appropriations are in addition to all appropriations provided for in the existing budget and tax levy, and a need for such appropriations exists by reason of the benefit of the savings to the taxpayers of the Town.
Taxpayers of said Town appearing at said meeting shall have the right to be heard in respect to said additional appropriations.
