NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
Notice is hereby given the taxpayers of the Town of Yorktown, Delaware County, Indiana, that the proper legal officers of the Town of Yorktown at their regular meeting place at the Yorktown Council Meeting Room, 9312 W Smith St., Yorktown, Indiana at 6:00 pm on October 20, 2025, will consider the following additional appropriation in excess of the budget for the current year. Amount Fund Name Requested: Lease Rental Fund/Canal Street $185,500 Local Road & Bridge Matching Grant $ 89,629.23 Taxpayers appearing at the meeting shall have a right to be heard. The additional appropriations as finally made will be referred to the Department of Local Government Finance (Department). The Department will make a written determination as to the sufficiency of funds to support the appropriations within fifteen (15) days of receipt of a Certified Copy of the action taken.
