NOTICE of ADOPTION of SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEM ORDINANCE TOWN of OAKFIELD PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on February 9, 2026, the Town of Oakfield, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, adopted an Ordinance Repealing and Amending the Town of Oakfield's Solar Energy System Ordinance. The purpose of the Ordinance is to provide a regulatory scheme for the construction and operation of Solar Energy Systems, in the Town of Oakfield, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. All regulations contained in the ordinance are adopted pursuant to the authority granted by Wis. Stats. § 66.0401. The ordinance is enacted to provide for Town review of proposed Solar Energy Systems and to ensure such systems are properly installed and are sited in a manner that will minimize any adverse impacts without significantly increasing the cost or efficiency of the proposed system or which permits an alternate system of comparable cost or efficiency. All other provisions of the Town of Oakfield Zoning Ordinance remain in full force and effect. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that this ordinance imposes forfeitures for violations of various provisions.
