New Sewickley Township Sealed proposals will be received by the Township of New Sewickley of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania through the Quest Construction Data Network (QuestCDN) at www.questcdn.com until 11:30 AM prevailing time on April 28, 2026 for: CONTRACT NO. 26-SW1NOONEN STREET STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS The scope of work for Contract No. 26-SW1 includes the construction of a stormwater conveyance system including new inlets, new endwall, 24'' storm sewer, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit of $175.00 from QuestCDN using project number 10101599. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township of New Sewickley to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes of the State of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinances.The Township of New Sewickley reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids.Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania "Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3"; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply.The Township of New Sewickley shall (a) award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder therefore, or (b) reject all bids received within ninety (90) days of the date of bid opening; provided, however, that the Township of New Sewickley may, in its sole discretion, delay such award or rejection for up to one hundred twenty (120) days from the bid opening date until the Township of New Sewickley has received all required approvals from other governmental agencies.
